- Be kind and respectful to all dancers and staff.
- At a dance social, always ask before a dance, and respect a “no.”
- Dance is communication — pay attention to non-verbal and verbal cues regarding personal space.
- Immediately stop any action if your partner signals discomfort.
- Express your needs kindly.
- Be mindful of language; avoid aggressive or inflammatory words.
- Stay aware of others on the floor and adjust your dancing to avoid collisions.
- Do not attempt dips, lifts, or tricks without explicit consent and appropriate experience.
- Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
- Substance use that results in unsafe or disrespectful behavior is prohibited.
- Immediately report concerns to instructor(s)/organizer(s). Reports will be handled with care and confidentiality.
